Who We Are

Vintage Specialized Services, LLC dba Creekside Residential Care was founded and incorporated as a for-profit company in 2009 in the state of Michigan and has licensed facilities in both Mid and Southeastern Michigan.

Our 24-hour skill-based setting is one of the few residential programs of its kind in the area, which is comprised of medically supervised individualized treatment programs. The passion and dedication of our multi-disciplinary team are to change the lives of many adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome, Autism, and other Developmental and Intellectual disabilities for years to come.

We have partnerships with Prader-Willi Syndrome Association/USA and Prader-Willi California Foundation, envisioning individuals born with this syndrome will have the opportunity to live their best lives through improved education and training programs for staff caring for them, quality residential settings with industry standards derived from credible research-based literature, clean whole foods and providing education to the community and local healthcare Agencies that may not be as familiar with the multitude of needs for this special population.

Creekside Residential Care offers Specialized Care for individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome, Autism, and other Individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities between the ages of 18 and 65, both male and female.

About the Owner

LaToshia Baruti serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vintage Specialized Services, LLC dba Creekside Residential Care (CRC). She is a licensed, Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience and specializes in both family medicine and mental health.

LaToshia graduated from Wayne County Community College in Detroit, Michigan. This was the beginning of what would be an exciting career. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Detroit-Mercy in 1999 and achieved a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner.

LaToshia has extensive experience and has worked in multiple specialty areas caring for the disabled and underserved. She has experience in emergency medicine, case management, critical care, and hi-tech homecare in her early years. After becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, she worked as an administrator and clinical practitioner in various settings.

LaToshia has a strong sense of helping others attain their goals. She spent many years as a Clinical Professor educating nursing students in hospitals, outpatient clinics, crisis centers, and specialized adult foster care facilities through Michigan State University, Davenport University, and Henry Ford Community College. LaToshia has a special interest in developing programs for individuals with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities and Genetic disorders, specifically Prader-Willi Syndrome.

  • Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners (MCNP)

LaToshia Baruti also serves as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Director of Mental Health Services for Young Health Pioneers (YHeP), whose mission is to “Bridge healthcare disparity and facilitate access to quality healthcare” to the underserved and other special populations.
